I have been part of the Lake Wenatchee YMCA Camp community since March 2002, when my family first moved to camp. Over the years, I have grown through every stage of the camp experience – starting as a Mini Camper, Discovery Camper, and Explorer Camper before entering the Leadership Development Program (LDP) in ninth and tenth grade. I then graduated into the Counselor in Training (CIT) program during my junior and senior years of high school and later served as a camp counselor.

After my time as a counselor, I became a Teen Coordinator on the camp’s leadership team, where I helped design and launch the Cabin Leader Development Program (CLDP) for juniors and seniors. From 2022 to 2024, I oversaw this program, guiding the next generation of leaders. In 2025, I stepped into the role of Programs Coordinator, where I managed scheduling, planning, and leading all camp games and activities.

Outside of camp, I have dedicated myself to youth development through the YMCA’s before- and after-school programs. For the past four years, I have served as a site lead, and in early 2025 I took on additional responsibility by helping run a childcare site in the absence of a coordinator.

The values of the YMCA – caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility – are central to who I am. Growing up at camp has made them part of my core, and I strive to live them out daily. I am passionate about fostering community, teaching new skills, and helping young people grow – whether through childcare programs, leadership development, or team-building activities with high school students.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, archery, and spending quality time with family and friends.
